Underwater recess construction with invisible slat covers

For this pool project, Swim Safe supplied a fully automatic cover system where the roller of the slats is completely concealed under water in a specially designed recess construction. The result is a technically advanced, aesthetically sleek solution where the slats are not visible when the pool is in use.

The slats roll up under the water surface and are stored in an underwater niche, integrated into the back of the pool. This recess is fitted with a grating or recess cover that is flush with the pool wall or floor, so that the system visually disappears completely. This offers a sleek finish without disturbing elements above the water surface.

Smart design and technical execution

The underwater niche is constructed so that the winding shaft, drive and slats are optimally protected against load and water pressure. The Retro drive ensures powerful and quiet operation, while the guiding of the slats is designed to roll in and out smoothly without resistance. All fixing points and connections are made of high-quality stainless steel materials, ensuring a long service life and minimal maintenance requirements. This is crucial in permanent underwater installations.
